industrial town of Himachal Pradesh. The town lies on the border of
Himachal Pradesh and Haryana states in the Shivalik Hills, around 35
kilometres west of Solan. The town of Baddi is home to some of the top

Lab, Torrent Pharmaceuticals, TVS Motors, Colgate Palmolive, Dabur India, Cipla,
Cadbury’s, Wipro, Wockhardt, Procter & Gamble, Marc Enterprises etc because
of tax concessions being offered by the Central and State governments. Moreover,
the Baddi Barotiwala industrial corridor is emerging as one of the biggest
Pharma hubs of Asia. The new industrial set up would also provide employment to
over thousands of people and generate economic well being for the entire town
and state.
