Banashankari is the famous religious place amongst Bangalore and the locality derives its name from the Banashankari temple situated in this part of Bangalore. This place is divided into 6 stages. 4th, 5th and 6th stage was developed by BDA in early 2000’s between Hosakerehalli and Rajarajeshwari Nagar.
