Naigaon is the name of a
railway station on the Mumbai suburban railway on the Western Railway
(India) railway line. Naigaon is directly connected to Vasai Road. It is
divided into east and west. In the east there is a famous temple of Chandika
Devi (goddess named Chandika) and the township of Mittal Enclave which is a
project being developed by the famous Mittal Builders. West comprises
residential areas like Mariam Nagar, Amol Nagar, Vijay Park, pali parish,
Naigaon Koliwada, Umela village. Mariam Nagar' is the only place where salt
is formed on mass scale.
